$1 million Mega Millions ticket sold in Prince George's County

CLINTON, Md. (WUSA9) -- Maryland Lottery officials tell us that the $1 million second-tier winning Mega Millions ticket -- with Megaplier -- was sold in Clinton.

They say the winner chose their own numbers at the 7-Eleven at 6570 Coventry Way in Clinton.

The Mega Millions numbers were 04-23-30-43-50, with Mega Ball 11.
The Megaplier was 4.

Man arrested for two bank robberies in Md.

OXON HILL, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police have arrested a man in connection to two bank robberies in Md this week.

Olandus Devon Campbell, 43 robbed the PNC Bank located on the 6100 block of Oxon Hill on October 8. He was able to demand money from the teller and walk away with an undisclosed amount of money. On October 7, Campbell robbed the Wells Fargo bank at the same location, police said.

Campbell faces multiple charges related to the robberies, officials said.

Dye pack explodes on bank robber

OXON HILL, Md. (WUSA9) -- Officials have arrested a man who they say robbed a PNC Bank.

It happened at the PNC Bank in the Rivertowne Commons Shopping Center locating in the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road.

Officials say the suspect was given money with a dye pack, which exploded in the parking lot.

Taking part is Dick Stockton, a tennis champion and T3 founder who was once ranked as the eighth best tennis player in the world. 

PHOTOS: Police looking for Md. armed robbery suspects

OXON HILL, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police have released photographs of the suspects involved in an armed robbery in Md. 

The incident happened on September 19 around 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot of a motel located at 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road for an armed robbery.  Eight suspects robbed a man and ran away in a Dodge Durango. Police believe the suspects include seven men and one woman.

PG police: $500,000 of jewelry stolen from store

OXON HILL, Md. (AP) - Police in Prince George's County are investigating a $500,000 heist at an Oxon Hill jewelry store.

Police on Friday released a video from the scene in hopes of generating leads.

The robbery took place in May at Rivertowne Jewelers on the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road. Authorities are now releasing the video in hopes of getting leads. 

Police believe the robbers broke into the store through the roof in the middle of the night, lowering tools down through a hole and using a blow torch to break open the safe.

Authorities say the robbers spent hours inside the store and made off with an estimated $500,000 worth of jewelry
