The Prowl around the Great Cats exhibit will over special demonstrations at 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. Keepers will also talk about the daily care of the Zoo’s Sumatran tigers and how the tigers contribute to conservation efforts.
But that’s not all!
Face painting will be available for those who want to take on the tiger persona. There will also be tiger-themed arts and crafts.
Experts from the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute’s Tiger Conservation Partnership will display tools they use in the field to study tigers and other species in Asia, including radio collars and camera traps, for visitors to see and touch.
