Want to Set Sail From Oxon Hill? You Can On The Minnie V!

There are just a few warm weekends remaining before the cool air of Autumn descends on the East Coast, which means there is still time to set sail on Oxon Hill's own Skipjack Minnie V.!

The Minnie V. was built over 100 years ago on Maryland's Eastern Shore, and has historically been used for oyster dredging.  Today, it is open to the public to sail the Potomac on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The Minnie V. schedule is as follows:

Fridays - 5 and 7 pm*
Saturdays and Sundays - 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm, and 7 pm*
*Minimum of 10 passengers is required for 7 pm cruise.
(weather permitting, 20 passenger limit)

On Saturdays, the Minnie V. offers a sunset fireworks cruise as well.

Adult tickets cost $20, while children under the age of 12 can ride for $12.  Minnie V. cruises are available through the end of October.
